Materials - Yard Worker Job Description Join a dynamic logistics and warehousing team, working in the Flint market. This outdoor role involves unloading totes and products from rail cars and loading them onto semi-trailers. Training will be provided to operate mobile conveyors for projects like moving concrete powder from rail cars to trucks. Responsibilities Work outdoors all day in varying weather conditions. Unload and load products from rail cars to semi-trailers. Operate and eventually be trained to move mobile conveyors. Walk up and down ramps while managing heavy loads. Perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift. Perform maintenance tasks such as changing lines, filters, and oil on conveyors during downtime. Essential Skills Experience working outside all day. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks. Flexibility to work either the 5am - 3pm shift or the 9am - 6pm shift. Basic mechanical skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in general labor and yard work. Forklift operation skills. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Flint, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
