Shipping & Receiving Specialist (1st Shift Full-Time)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dependable Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our growing first shift team. This role is ideal for someone who is extremely comfortable operating a sit-down propane-powered forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in working efficiently, safely, and professionally. This position plays a critical role in keeping our warehouse and logistics operations moving smoothly. The ideal candidate will be confident loading and unloading semi-trucks, organizing warehouse inventory, interacting professionally with drivers and customers, and assisting with general warehouse operations during downtime. Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate a sit-down propane-powered forklift Load and unload semi-trucks quickly and accurately Move, organize, and stack pallets, Gaylords, and IBC totes throughout the warehouse Safely load flatbed trailers and dump trailers Verify incoming and outgoing shipments Communicate professionally with truck drivers, vendors, and customers during pickups and deliveries Input shipment and inventory information into basic computer systems Upload shipment photos and maintain accurate documentation when needed Assist with warehouse organization and inventory management Support the Prep Area and assist with miscellaneous warehouse tasks during downtime Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Requirements Previous forklift experience required Strong experience operating a sit-down propane-powered forklift Comfortable working around semi-trucks, trailers, and warehouse traffic Ability to efficiently stack and organize warehouse materials Good communication and customer service skills Basic computer and smartphone/tablet proficiency Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, standing, and working in varying warehouse temperatures Preferred Qualifications Shipping and receiving experience Experience loading flatbeds or dump trailers Forklift certification preferred Experience in warehouse logistics or inventory management Schedule Full-time First shift Monday through Friday No weekends No Holidays Why Work With Us?
