Job Description

Staffing Inc is partnered with a client in Greenville who is actively looking to hire qualified individuals for Part Runners who are ready to start as soon as possible! The ideal candidate will be able to complete a drug screen and background check, and more. As a Parts Runners, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products, while collaborating with internal teams to support production schedules and uphold safety and quality standards. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to workplace safety will directly contribute to the operational excellence behind our trusted brands.
Benefits:
$17.00-18.00/hr for 1st shift 1st shift: 5:00am-3:30pm 10 hour days, some weekend overtime Temp to hire
Responsibilities:
Efficiently distribute required parts to workstations using forklifts, stock chaser, pallet jacks or hand carts. Safely and efficiently unload finished product from assembly lines and transport to the warehouse for storage. Responsible for retrieving parts orders for assembly and sub-assembly areas. Must proactively work with area supervisors and keep assembly/sub-assembly stocking shelves full. Ensures inventory accuracy by utilizing computer terminal and/or tablet to locate material and supplies in warehouse. Use computer to enter, access or retrieve data. Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms. Read production schedules and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority. Perform cycle counts of parts in the warehouse and parts returning to the warehouse. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing support role Proficiency using inventory management systems and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel) Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems preferred Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in material movement and recordkeeping Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely and effectively (up to 50 lbs) Comfortable operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (certification preferred) Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Strong communication skills and a commitment to workplace safety High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certification in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus Pass a pre employment drug screen and background check.
