Auction Team Member: Warehouse Worker for Scan Days / Order Picker (Part-Time, 3 Days!)

We have an opening for a Order Picker / Warehouse Worker. The job responsibilities involve mainly picking/taking products to our customers who come for a curbside pickup as well as scanning the inventory to the shelves. Vistacore is a small locally owned and growing e-commerce business founded in 2008 in Holland, MI. We are unique to the area that is mostly a manufacturing sector. With us

Currently our team includes over 30 people at two warehouse locations. The working atmosphere and environment is very nice, comfortable and laid-back. Our team members are not just employees or "numbers", we build great working relationships. We promote independent work over micromanagement.

Hours Wednesday:

8:30am

• 5:00pm (sometimes later
• till we are done scanning inventory)
• Responsible for being a "Runner" which is taking pre-scanned lots, and relocating them to designated shelves

Thursday:

8:30am

• 5:00pm (may have options to stay later to assist with our Store Inventory reset)

Friday:

8:30am

• 5:00pm
• This entire day you will be assisting in putting away our largest (in item size) Auction lots
• to various shelves throughout the warehouse.

Very physically demanding, and not recommended for anyone who has previous/current health issues / physical limitations when it comes to bending, squatting, lifting heavier items, being on your feet all day (in hotter conditions come the summer time), ability to read shelf tags, and our handheld scanners More hours may be available as needed! Order Picker / Warehouse Worker Responsibilities and Duties

• moving inventory. This includes but is not limited to: handling, lifting, sorting, scanning, picking, pricing, packaging and boxing
• reading/entering the gathered information from/to a computer PC or a phone/tablet
• attention to detail and productivity are key, as well as positive attitude and flexibility Order Picker / Warehouse Worker Requirements
• physically able to perform heavy work: exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50-80 pounds of force frequently, and 20 pounds of force almost constantly to move objects (this also includes moving some product that is over 60 inches long)
• capable of working in a fast-paced environment
• able to work for entire shift at a fast pace in a physically demanding job Benefits
