This work includes franchise law compliance, dealer operations and disputes, pricing and incentive programs, vehicle allocation, warranty matters, and other dealerfacing initiatives. USDT is seeking a Staff Attorney to advise business partners and manage dealer disputes and related litigation.

Job Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and counsel to Stellantis business groups on issues affecting the manufacturer-dealer relationship, including interpretation of dealer agreements and matters involving dealer franchise law, vehicle and parts sales, warranty, and auditDraft and review documents related to dealer agreements and dealer transactions, including letters of intent, notices, and dealer correspondenceManage dealerrelated franchise litigation with outside counsel, including discovery, case strategy, and coordination with internal stakeholdersSupport the development and refinement of business policies and programs, including risk analysis and document drafting Location(s) 1000 Chrysler Drive, Auburn Hills, Michigan 48326,United States Requirements Basic Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) with a strong academic background3+ years of experience in an outside law firm setting, preferably in commercial litigationAdmitted to practice law in at least one statePreferred Qualifications:
Experience with automotive franchise laws or other complex statutory or regulatory frameworksBusinessminded, peopleoriented approach with the ability to deliver practical legal solutions in a fastpaced environmentAbility to identify issues, assess risk, and develop clear options and recommendations for business stakeholders in collaboration with senior attorneysDemonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple matters and collaborate effectively with appropriate supervisionSound judgment and ownership mindset, including the ability to escalate issues appropriatelyStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain legal concepts to nonlawyersInterest in developing a deep understanding of the automotive business Employment Type Full-time Stellantis At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
