We are looking for a motivated and skilled operator to join our team in a facility that specializes in the importing, fabricating, and exporting of stainless-steel products. This role involves hands-on work with raw stainless-steel materials, operating fabrication equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring all products meet quality and customer standards. Pay rates vary based on experience, starting around $22/ hour. Open availability preferred, 1st shift (7:00a.m.-3:00p.m.), 2nd shift (3:00 p.m.- 11:00 p.m.), and 3rd shift (11:00p.m.-7:00 a.m.) working Monday- Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments of stainless steel from international suppliers Verify quantities and quality against purchase orders and documentation Safely unload and store raw materials using forklifts or overhead cranes Maintain accurate records of imported materials and inventory levels Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and cut lists Operate forklift, overhead, and other machinery Package and prepare shipments Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus 2+ years of experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing (stainless steel preferred) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents Strong attention to detail and safety Forklift and crane operation experience Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an industrial environment About Cardinal Staffing At Cardinal Staffing, a Sure-Staff Company, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
