We are a Janitorial Product Distributor in the Lansing area and make Mid-Michigan area deliveries to commercial customers. The hours are 9:30am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, and are a little flexible depending on work flow. You will need to have a clean driving record and agree to drug testing. Deliveries are made using our Cargo Van. Heavy lifting is required in the warehouse and for deliveries. •

Warehouse Scheduling:

Maintain and communicate an accurate warehouse schedule. Utilizing time to the best of your ability and being flexible on a weekly basis as to best meet customer needs. •

Staging and Product Preparation:

Receipt of product from vendors, cross checking vendor deliveries, staging customer deliveries by utilizing Picking Tickets ~ strong attention to detail ~ and concentrating on oldest orders first, while keeping an accurate record of staged deliveries for an organized distribution schedule. •

Deliveries:

Maintaining and following a schedule on a weekly basis to assure product is delivered to customers in a timely manner, and keeping the routes organized to best utilize time and gas efficiently. •

Purchasing:

Assisting the purchasing department by picking up supplies from various local vendors. This is done on a weekly basis and should be organized in a fashion around local deliveries that would best utilize time and gas efficiently. •

Inventory:

Keeping the purchasing department informed of warehouse needs, such as cleaning solutions ~ supplies ~ shrink wrap ~ propane… items that are needed to perform warehouse duties to the best of your abilities. Maintaining accurate inventory counts. •

Warehouse Maintenance and Management:

Maintaining the warehouse, fork truck, and delivery vehicles in an organized and clean manner. Checking fluids, getting needed oil changes and car washes, plus overall cleanliness of the interior. This includes sweeping of warehouse floor, parking lot management, and assistance with trash removal from different areas of Duckett Brothers Distributing.
