Measurement (quality control) Full Job Description Automotive Shipping Racks Assembler / General LabourJob Overview Precision Laser is seeking a dependable and hardworking Automotive Shipping Racks Assembler / General Labourer to support production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role involves assembling metal shipping racks, handling materials, operating hand and power tools, and assisting the fabrication team to ensure quality production standards are met. Key Responsibilities Assemble automotive shipping racks and metal components according to drawings and work instructions Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, and measuring equipment safely and efficiently Assist welders and production staff with fitting, positioning, and securing parts Inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality and accuracy Measure materials using tape measures, rulers, and calipers Perform basic grinding, cleaning, and finishing of metal products Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards Support other production and general labour duties as assigned Qualifications Previous manufacturing, assembly, or general labour experience considered an asset Ability to read basic drawings and follow work instructions Comfortable using hand and power tools Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Physically capable of lifting, standing, and performing repetitive tasks Good communication and teamwork skills Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused Work Schedule Full-time position Day shift Overtime available as required

Pay:

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
