The Metal Shop Material Handler reports directly to the Materials Manager but is tied closely to the Zone Leaders in the Metal Shop. Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities
- Have a high-level knowledge and understanding of the daily schedule for each of the Metal Shop work centers.
- Loading and changing over the sheet steel materials at the lasers.
- Moving cut and bent components to appropriate downstream work centers as needed.
- Move painted finished goods from the end of the paint line to the warehouse staging area.
- Emptying of steel scrap dumpsters as needed.
- Unloading of trucks received in the metal shop docks.
- Loading of steel sheet cartridges onto supplier return truck.
- Additional tasks as required by Metal Shop Zone Leaders and Materials Manager. Critical Skills & Knowledge

- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of Material Handling experience
- Previous Forklift experience Physical Demands
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds
