Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by managing various tasks related to inventory management and parts distribution. This is a fast-paced position that requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Performs parts crib activities ensuring efficient storage/retrieval of materials. Organize and catalog inventory in the parts crib, maintain accurate stock records to ensure adequate supply levels. Conduct periodic inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies. Issue part kits to production floor in accordance with work order specifications and logging all transactions accurately. Monitor and control crib access to ensure only authorized personnel are permitted entry. Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and documenting any discrepancies. Accurately package and label outgoing parts shipments. Operate forklifts safely to move materials within the loading dock and building. Always maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all safety regulations. Preferred Qualifications Must be self-motivated with strong organizational skills. Strong understanding of inventory management within a manufacturing facility. Previous experience with processing, packaging and shipping parts orders Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks as well as other material handling equipment. Strong and friendly communication and customer service skills Pay strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in recordkeeping Proficient in Microsoft Office products Experience with QuickBooks is preferred but not required Join us as an Parts Crib Attendant, where your skills will contribute significantly to our operations, ensuring we meet our goals efficiently and effectively.
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
