Job Description
PrideStaff/Southfield is a Hiring warehouse general labor associate to work for a world leader in the field of Automotive Systems. Temp to hire Shifts, Monday-Friday with optional over time on Saturday. 7am-3pm $16 2pm-10:30pm $16.25
Responsibilities:
Depending on the specific area assigned, assists in some or all of the following:- Receipt of incoming materials, product or returns
- Movement of stock to appropriate locations within the warehouse
- Utilization of industrial powered trucks, swing reaches, stand-ups, and floor jacks
- Verification of part locations and quantities
- Gathering of merchandise for distribution to the customer
- Preparation of outgoing shipments
- Inventory control Required Skills/Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to work effectively with little supervision
- Must be organized, have excellent communication skills and proficiency in Math Desired Skills
- 1-2 years Warehousing experience within the Automotive industry preferred
- Equipment safety and operations training preferred
- Powered industrial vehicle experience (i.e. Banding equipment, forklifts, pallet jacks, stand-up order pickers, stretch wrap machine, swing reach truck) preferred
- Experience with bar scanning equipment is a PLUS Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $16.
