MHP YARD WORKERS : (Gogebic and Ontonagon Counties)

Non-Exempt, Employee at will. 12-20 Hours per week, varies depending on work. Starting wage $14.08 per hour, plus mileage ($0.725/mile) Under the supervision of the Outreach and Grants Specialist, the Yard Worker will provide services intended to assist the household with yard work and small projects to maintain the yard.

Duties include:

lawn mowing/raking, cleaning up yard debris, trimming overhanging tree branches, and removing rubbish, dead branches, etc. Must have a dependable vehicle that can carry needed equipment and must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance. Applicant must have strong interpersonal skills, be a team player, be able to understand and follow directions with minimal supervision, be physically capable of performing tasks and able to lift up to 50 lbs., and be willing to perform tasks regardless of perceived degree of importance. Must also have organizational skills, the ability to read, and basic mechanical skills.

Education:

High-school graduate or equivalent; minimum 18 years of age.
