Job Title:

General Labor Job Description We are seeking dedicated individuals for a general labor position. You will be responsible for unloading metal automotive parts into machines, ensuring proper clamping, performing quality checks, and correctly labeling and binning the products. The work is straightforward, with part loading and automated robots handling unloading and stacking. Responsibilities Lift and handle parts weighing between 20-45 lbs every 2-3 minutes. Unload metal automotive parts into machines and ensure they are clamped securely. Conduct quality checks on products and ensure accurate labeling and binning according to part numbers. Work diligently in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. Essential Skills Experience in physical labor, with the ability to lift 25-40 lbs frequently. Experience in similar industries such as construction, farming, or landscaping is beneficial. Proficiency in machine operation and quality assurance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in manufacturing or assembly is advantageous. Familiarity with handling metal parts in a production setting. Why Work Here? Work Environment The position is located in a loud and busy manufacturing setting specializing in metal machining. You will work in a well-lit area, lifting parts from knee to waist height. Shifts are structured into days (8am-4pm), afternoons (4pm-12am), and midnights (12am-8am), with frequent work on Saturdays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Huron, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
