Attention 2026 High School Graduates!!! Great opportunity for the summer! We are looking for Summer help at our Big Bay, MI location and our Champion, MI location!
JOB TITLE
Summer General LaborerMAIN PURPOSE
Performs routine tasks clean up, painting and other operations tasks.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES
Perform daily Pre-Task Hazard Assessments (PTHA) prior to starting work Inspect assigned work areas daily and identify, correct, or report hazards in a timely manner Assist with site cleaning and housekeeping, including buildings, common areas, and operational zones Support truck wash operations, including cleaning and maintaining wash areas Help maintain contact water areas, including cleaning and watering as directed Perform groundskeeping tasks, including cutting grass, trimming, and pulling weeds Assist with painting projects across site infrastructure and equipment Support organization and material handling, including moving supplies and maintaining orderly storage areas Provide basic office or administrative support as assigned Work collaboratively with mine and mill staff to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently Follow all site policies, procedures, and safety standards Perform other duties as assignedWORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments at the Mine site or Mill site Exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, dust, and industrial settings Requires standing, walking, lifting, bending, and manual labor throughout the shiftSAFETY COMMITMENT

A high school education or equivalent is required Experience in industrial settings desired Knowledge in computer operations to enter time in Paylocity Ability to communicate effectively Ability to maintain effective working relationshipsKEY PERSONAL COMPETENCIES

HSEC ACCOUNTABILITIES
Everyone in the workplace is responsible for his or her own safety and for the safety of their co-workers. Employees are responsible for performing all tasks in accordance with relevant HSEC Site Procedures, so as to work safely and keep the workplace safe. Eagle Mine is responsible for determining steps required to ensure health and safety of all employees, protection of the environment, and the community. Specifically, all employees must: Accept personal responsibility for HSEC Identify hazards, unsafe actions, and conditions that could result in damage to property, injury, impacts to the environment, and the community Obey any instruction issued to protect their own personal health and safety, and the health and safety of others, protection of the environment and the community. Report, as soon as practicable to their Manager any situations where HSEC requirements are not being conformed to within their work area Avoid endangerment to any other person through any act or omission Only use equipment you are trained to use and operate the equipment in a way that is safe, protects the environment and doesn't cause undue community impacts. Participate in HSEC training provided to them Report all incidents; including but not limited to injuries, near miss, community interactions and impacts, environmental impacts, spills, unsafe work practices, etc.Pay:
