Job Description

Green Arrow Staffing is seeking a dependable and motivated Shipping & Receiving / Material Handler for an outstanding opportunity with a leading aerospace manufacturer in Roseville. Position Overview The Shipping & Receiving / Material Handler is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of materials throughout the facility—from receiving inbound shipments to preparing outbound orders and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role plays a critical part in supporting production schedules, meeting customer deadlines, and maintaining inventory accuracy within a high-performance aerospace manufacturing environment. A key component of this position is performing manual cycle counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and utilizing computer systems and ERP software to track materials and ensure real-time inventory accuracy. Key Responsibilities Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficiently Prepare products for shipment by palletizing, banding, boxing, and securing materials Manage urgent and time-sensitive ("HOT") shipments, including outgoing FedEx deliveries Organize and maintain receiving and staging areas to maximize workflow efficiency Pull, stage, and prepare materials and fixtures for outside processing Distribute incoming inventory to the appropriate departments and storage locations Perform manual cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records Investigate and help resolve inventory discrepancies Update Parts Tracker and other inventory systems to ensure timely movement of materials Utilize Epicor ERP, Microsoft Excel, and related computer systems to track inventory and shipments Operate forklifts to transport and store materials Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all quality and safety procedures Qualifications Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling operations Inventory control experience is required Hands-on experience performing manual cycle counts Forklift experience required; certification preferred Strong computer skills and comfort working with inventory software Experience with ERP systems such as Epicor ERP or similar platforms is highly desirable Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities Effective communication and teamwork skills Commitment to safety, quality, and accuracy Preferred Qualifications Experience in aerospace, automotive, or other manufacturing environments Familiarity with shipping systems such as FedEx and UPS Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles Why Work with Green Arrow Staffing?
