Job Description

Warehouse Associate - Traverse City Location Sheren Plumbing & Heating, Inc. is seeking a skilled, dependable, and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team in Traverse City. This role is responsible for keeping our warehouse running smoothly and safely. The Warehouse Associate handles material, tools, vehicles, equipment, and facility upkeep to support our field crews and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse & Inventory Receive and check in all deliveries Inspect shipments for damage and verify packing lists Organize materials by job number and notify project teams Ensure materials and tools move in and out of the warehouse efficiently Tool Management Maintain an organized tool crib Ensure proper tool sign-out and scheduling Fleet & Equipment Maintain vehicle and trailer records Schedule repairs and track vehicle assignments Oversee shop equipment maintenance, including forklifts Assist with occasional transport of heavy equipment Building & Grounds Perform light building maintenance (lighting, cleaning, trash removal) Maintain grounds (pick up trash, discard scrap, organize trailers, discard pallets), sprinkler system setup/shutdown
Preferred Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication Comfortable using computer software Organized with good time management We are willing to train the right candidate.
