Job Description

General Laborer -
Manufacturing Support Shift:
1st shift: 6:00am-2:30pm- $18.81 2nd shift: 1:30pm-10pm- $19.65 We are looking for a reliable and motivated General Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will support daily production and facility operations by assisting across multiple departments and performing a variety of hands-on tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, variety in their day, and learning new skills on the job. What You'll Do You will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by stepping in wherever needed, including: Performing general labor tasks such as moving materials, equipment, assemblies, patterns, timbers, fences, and other items as needed Assisting with digging, cleaning, and basic site upkeep (floors, roofs, tanks, and work areas) Operating machines when properly qualified Supporting machine operators by lifting, positioning, and removing workpieces for fitting and welding Loading, stacking, and transporting materials, tools, dies, and in-process work using hand or powered equipment Cleaning and preparing metal parts for fabrication, welding, painting, or shipping Collecting scrap materials and maintaining organized workspaces Loading and unloading production machinery following posted instructions Conducting basic visual safety checks at the start of each shift and completing required checklists Reporting any equipment issues, abnormalities, or safety concerns to a Supervisor or Lead Assisting with other machines, departments, or tasks as assigned What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent (or related experience) Ability to obtain and maintain Hi-Lo (forklift) and crane operator certifications Strong willingness to learn and take initiative Ability to prioritize tasks and work with urgency in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and ability to work well with teammates and supervisors Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime when needed Must be able to pass drug screen
