These are temp-to-hire positions working for a local warehouse. Opportunities for advancement right from the start, company promotes from within.
Job Responsibilities:
Work in a very busy and congested environment, loads and unloads trailers and handles materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand or by safely and efficiently operating electrical stand up or sit-down forklifts. Performs some duties off of the forklift.
For example:
helping to put up pallet racking and clean up duties. Receives materials to the dock to stock and enters the appropriate information into the computer system Attaches tags or labels to materials or marks information on containers or product according to procedures Delivers materials to the production and packaging areas and ensures that production is never without required materials
Qualifications:
Experience ( >1yr) loading/unloading trucks and trailers with up to 10-foot pallets. Operating 6000 lb forklift with 72" forks, fork extensions and positioners. Solid work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to cross train in different operations Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds without assistance; occasional up to 80 lbs. with or without assistance Ability and willingness to read and follow written and verbal instructions Pay rate: 1st Shift $18.00 30-minute lunch and 2 10-minute breaks Moderate paced work Generous benefits for hired in employees, including health insurance, vacation time, and weekly bonus potential upon hire in.
