Warehouse Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our distribution center by managing inventory, operating heavy equipment, and maintaining a safe work environment. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and quality while working in a fast-paced warehouse setting. Responsibilities Operate various types of heavy equipment including reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move products within the warehouse. Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory to ensure optimal storage and retrieval. Maintain accurate records of stock levels using the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to OSHA safety standards. Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently. Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical equipment as needed. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area to promote a safe working environment. Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks and pallet jacks. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is advantageous. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
