Hiring Immediately:

Rate $22.00 Full time: Monday - Thursday, 10:30am -8:30pm

Location:

Cottage Grove, MN Objective:

Responsible for picking products to fill orders and preparing loads for route trucks, assisting in maintaining a safe, efficient and clean warehouse, while maintaining proper rotation of product and loading available delivery trucks as needed.

Job Description:

Maintain warehouse cleanliness by removing breakage and placing it on designated pallets Remove shrink wrap from partial pallets and prepare materials for recycling Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, scrubbing floors, and disposing of waste Organize and store pallets by type in assigned areas Level and maintain active pick pallets at the end of each shift Complete assigned cleaning and downtime tasks as directed by Warehouse Management Pick products accurately using company-provided devices and scanners Inspect products for damage and verify expiration dates to ensure proper rotation Prepare completed orders by placing pallets on conveyors or designated wrapping areas Assist with restocking pick areas to maintain adequate inventory levels Ensure proper stock rotation by prioritizing older inventory Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

Previous work experience as a warehouse worker. Ability to lift up to 175 lbs. High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to sit, climb, bend, crouch, reach and stand for extended periods of time. Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas and/or fumes. Must be at least 20 years of age.

Supporting Qualifications:

Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems. Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods. Good organizational and time management skills.
