POSITION SUMMARY

Performs various functions including receiving, delivering materials to/from the production area, scrap material moves, and misc. supply moves, using a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Transport raw materials and finished goods to designated area. Perform all tasks in a safe manner. Perform forklift inspections and report any issues. Knowledgeable of handling procedures for all materials to prevent accidents. Pulls and stages material needed for production. Responsible for using scanner and/or computer system Responsible for quality control - no damage to raw material or product being transported Follows all procedures including but not limited to work instructions, standard operating procedures, material specifications, and job safety analysis

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous forklift experience Basic computer knowledge Takes ownership and prides themselves in delivering a high-quality product This position description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. The target hourly range is $19.50 - $21.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs. In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
