Material Handler

Forklift Operator / Material Handler We're looking for a skilled Forklift Operator / Material Handler to support warehouse, production, and shipping operations at a growing manufacturer of innovative ergonomic ladder systems that improve safety for fleet vehicles. Daily Responsibilities Operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the facility Keep production lines stocked by delivering the right materials to machine operators Unload incoming trucks, organize inventory, and properly tag materials Use pick sheets (transitioning to RF scanners) to accurately pick and stage orders Pull pallets from racking, build orders, and deliver to assembly Stage and move finished goods for shipment in a timely manner Support shipping with tasks like Bills of Lading (BOLs) and coordinating carriers Perform cycle counts and inventory checks during downtime Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Required Experience Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or production setting Solid skills with order picking and pallet building Experience with shipping, receiving, and loading/unloading trucks Ability to read and follow pick sheets accurately Comfortable using basic computer systems for warehouse tasks Nice to Have Experience with RF scanners (or willingness to learn) Experience coordinating LTL or full truckload shipments Experience with inventory control or cycle counting Why You'll Love This Job New, modern facility designed for efficiency and comfort Consistent forklift work—not just general labor Team-focused culture with regular town halls and open communication On-site break room with market for snacks and drinks Annual boot reimbursement to support required safety gear Opportunity to grow as the operation transitions to new warehouse technology (RF systems) Work Environment Brand-new facility (less than 5 years old) Active warehouse, production, and shipping setting Non-climate-controlled environment (warmer in summer months) Majority of the shift spent operating equipment and moving materials Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eagan, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
