Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, operating heavy equipment, and maintaining a safe working environment. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork. Responsibilities Operate and maintain warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and orders. Utilize forklifts, for efficient materials handling. Load and unload products from delivery trucks and ensure proper storage within the distribution center. Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in the organization of the warehouse layout for optimal workflow. Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in order picking processes. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment. Conduct incoming materials inspections on warehouse shipments. Service the products to ensure optimal performance. Skills Proficiency in using warehouse management systems for tracking inventory. NetSuite a plus. Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Experience with working with Less-Than-Truckload shippers (LTL) and other common carriers Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory management. Knowledge of materials handling best practices within a distribution center setting. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift. Experience with order picking processes Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
