General Laborer-2nd Shift

About ShopSabre ShopSabre was founded in 2001 and is based in Lakeville, Minnesota. ShopSabre is a leading designer and manufacturer of CNC routers, plasma tables, and fiber lasers that are used in a variety of high-precision machining operations to cut wood, steel, aluminum and other metals. ShopSabre is looking for an energetic, team-oriented individual with a positive attitude to join our Paint Department as a General Laborer. If you enjoy hands-on work, are mechanically inclined, and want to be part of a growing team, we want to hear from you! This is a full-time 2nd-shift position, working 4-10 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday.

Responsibilities:

Prep machine parts and frames for painting (grinding, wiping, pressure washing) Operate hand and power tools including grinders, sanders, and pressure washers Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment Learn and assist with industrial painting (training provided) Follow safety procedures and wear required protective equipment Work independently and collaboratively to meet production goals Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

Previous experience in manufacturing, general labor, or industrial painting preferred Comfortable operating grinders, hand tools, and power tools Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and stand for the entire shift Willingness to perform physical tasks including lifting, pushing, and pulling Forklift experience is a plus (training available) Must be reliable, punctual, and a strong communicator Open to working occasional overtime as needed

Pay and Benefits:

Pay range is $24-28/hour dependent on skills and experience. This is including the shift differential of $2/hour.
