Job DescriptionPay Range:
 $18/Hr.- $24/Hr. 
Shift:
(Part-Time) Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 1:30 PMThe Warehouse & Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the facility, including warehousing activities and organization, inventory management, and general building maintenance or repairs. This hands-on role ensures that the facility and warehouse operate efficiently, safely, and in an organized manner to support ongoing Consumer and Sensory research projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including packing and preparation of outbound shipments, unloading and verifying deliveries, organizing, stocking materials, and record-keeping.
  • Support Consumer and Sensory projects by managing inventory, coding and labeling test products and supplies, and ensuring accurate organization.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness, stock levels, and assist with retrieval and return of test equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Perform routine facility maintenance and cleaning, including light repairs and general handyman tasks, sweeping, mopping, and seasonal preparation tasks.
  • Monitor all areas of the facility to ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization, addressing issues proactively.
  • Maintain and move equipment and furniture, including calibration of testing equipment and daily record-keeping.
  • Communicate with team members to resolve issues such as product damage, shortages, or deviations from specifications.
  • Assist with vendor coordination, procurement, and other facility-related projects as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Facility Supervisor to maintain parking, grounds, and overall facility appearance.
  • Contribute to a professional, safe, and organized environment, supporting both staff and project needs.
QualificationsEducation and Experience:
  • High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, maintenance, or a similar hands-on role.
  • Experience with a liftgate, forklift or pallet jack is a plus
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a fast-paced, hands-on environment is essential.
Required Licenses or Certificates:
  • Valid Driver's License and Proof of Insurance
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Required Skills:
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment and use common hand and power tools to perform general building maintenance, basic repairs, installations, and other facility upkeep activities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift, move, and organize materials safely and perform tasks that require climbing, standing and working from ladders or step stools as needed.
  • Flexible, proactive, and willing to "jump in" wherever needed.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and record-keeping tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
