Globus Global Safety Inc. manufactures and distributes industrial work gloves, high-visibility safety wear, and Bullhead Safety eye-wear; selling through authorized distributors/wholesalers in North, Central and South America. We have grown every year since we started in 2004 and our goal is to grow over 20% this year.Summary/Objective:
The Warehouse associate deals with loading and unloading trailers, shipping and receiving, general material handling and tracking packages within the warehouse.Essential Functions:
- Pull orders, stage product, or prepare orders for shipment.
- Load or unload trucks making sure that freight processes and safety procedures are followed.
- Help in maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse.
- Operating forklifts safely and responsibly. We will train as needed
- Restock materials accurately.
Competencies:
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred, but will train the right individual
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, climb and reach throughout complete shift.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds cases.
- Ability to work unsupervised to finish a given project.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma preferred.
