We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse distribution activities, including loading, unloading, and organizing materials. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation and materials handling will ensure smooth warehouse operations and timely delivery of products. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing manufacturing environment while honing your skills in logistics and warehouse management. Duties Load and unload materials using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment while adhering to safety standards such as OSHA regulations Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately track inventory and process shipments Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision using order picker equipment and pick techniques Manage shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all items are correctly documented and stored securely Use cranes or heavy equipment for the movement of large or heavy materials within the warehouse or construction sites Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain a safe environment for all team members Assist with inventory counts, organization of warehouse space, and maintaining cleanliness to optimize workflow efficiency Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials handling roles Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and mechanical systems related to warehouse operations Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picking procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues Prior experience in construction or industrial environments is a plus but not required All candidates who are offered a position will need to take a pre-employment drug test and physical.
