Summary Description:
While reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the material handler will be responsible for moving, loading and unloading materials by operating a fork truck within or near the plant, yard, or work site. Move finished goods between areas; following routing, delivery tickets, or orders. This position will additionally be responsible for all blending room activities, as needed.Location:

$20.74 What you'll be doing: Complies with all company policies and procedures, including all safety policies and procedures Facilitate a safe workplace for all employees Completing pre-use inspections Operates industrial truck to load or move materials and products Follows written and/or oral instructions for materials or containers to be moved Uses scan gun to count, transfer, and record number of units of material/finished goods moved or handled. Opens containers. Transfers materials from Raw to WIP Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, gaylords, or other containers Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against Bills of Lading, Invoices, Purchase orders, or other records Completes and submits all necessary forms to Production Supervisor Segregates weigh scraps and dumps trash in appropriate containers Performs Blending Room Material Handler duties as needed Other duties as requested by Supervisor We'd love to hear from you if: Minimum 6 months related experience and/or training. You have a current license as fork-truck operator You can work independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously is needed You must have the ability to effectively work with a team in a fast-paced environment You can read, write and perform basis math You have data entry skills and proficient use of a scan gun You can lift up to 50 lbs You can stand, sit, reach, and bend You can push/pull and handle product You must be able to work in conditions that may include heat, humidity, and production noise At TOPPAN Packaging Americas, We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support our employees' overall wellbeing.
