Responsibilities Safely assist in dumping and transferring raw seed from delivery trucks and wagons into receiving pits, hoppers, and storage silos.
Move bags, pallets, and bulk containers of seed throughout the facility using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment. (Forklift training/certification may be provided).Maintain a clean and organized workspace by sweeping, clearing dust, and removing discarded packaging or organic debris to comply with safety and fire hazard standards.
Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and PPE requirements (e.g., safety glasses, dust masks, steel-toed boots). Physical Demands & Work Environment Ability to repeatedly lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods during an 8 to 12-hour shift.
This role takes place in an agricultural manufacturing environment.
