Job Description

Southern Hobby is seeking a Warehouse Associate, with responsibilities ranging from pulling/shipping/packing orders, stocking inventory, cycle counting, loading/unloading freight and other tasks as directed by the Warehouse Manager. We're looking for someone who has a great attention to detail and can work at a solid, consistent pace with accuracy. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday. Duties/Responsibilities:
Picking:
Use the RF gun to pick items for the order with accuracy.
Packing:
Pack and prepare items for shipping
Shipping:
Review, measure, weigh, and select the correct shipping rate and service required for each order. Assist with quarterly and yearly inventory as needed. Regular and reliable attendance. Other duties as communicated by the leadership team.
Required Skills/Abilities:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) Prefer at least 6 months to 1 year of history working in a warehouse environment (willing to train the right person) Familiar with RF scanner equipment Good organizational skills, strong work ethic, and committed to performing at your best. Ability to comprehend and adhere to all warehouse safety best practices. Comfortable with lifting to 50lbs, depending on the task.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. safely.
