Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, organized, and team-oriented Material Handler to support operations across our cultivation and manufacturing facilities. This role is responsible for the safe handling, movement, organization, and distribution of materials and products throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, forklift certified, and committed to maintaining clean, efficient, and standardized storage environments. Key Responsibilities Load and unload incoming shipments, materials, and products safely and efficiently. Verify incoming deliveries and assist with receiving processes alongside the Procurement and Inventory Coordinator. Transport and distribute materials, packaging, and finished products to the appropriate departments and storage areas. Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse, cultivation, and manufacturing storage systems. Help standardize storage spaces to improve efficiency, cleanliness, and inventory accuracy. Maintain clean, orderly, and compliant work and storage areas throughout the facilities. Support inventory organization, stock rotation, and material tracking activities. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and according to company procedures. Assist with movement of pallets, supplies, production materials, and operational equipment as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure materials are available where and when needed. Follow all company safety procedures, compliance requirements, and facility protocols. Qualifications Forklift certification required. Previous experience required, can certify on-site. Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or material handling preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Positive attitude and willingness to support multiple departments. Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills. Ability to lift and move materials regularly throughout the shift. Experience with inventory systems or warehouse organization is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods throughout the workday. Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, with or without assistance. Capability to perform repetitive motions such as lifting, sorting, and operating equipment. Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely. Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including warehouse, cultivation, manufacturing, and outdoor settings, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, noise levels, and odors. Visual and auditory ability to identify hazards, read labels, and communicate effectively within the work environment.
