Key Responsibilities Material Movement:

Move materials by hand from machinery or load/unload to machinery; transfer material or finished products from presses and machines to pallets

Work Order Reading:

Interpret work orders to determine which materials to move

Loading/Unloading:

Load and unload materials from pallets by hand

Stacking & Bundling:

Stack materials into bundles, band bundles together, and stack using wrist flexing motions

Labeling & Marking:

Attach identification tags or labels to materials; mark information on containers

Workspace Maintenance:

Clean work areas, make minor repairs, and assist machine operators

Clerical Support:

Perform basic clerical functions as needed

Equipment Setup:

Assist with equipment setup and press "web up"

Team Leadership:

May lead or train other material handlers

Safety Compliance:

Follow all safety policies, including hazardous waste handling, lockout/tagout, and hearing/eye protection

Special Projects:

Participate in assigned special projects

Pay:

$15.75 per hour
