Full-Time, Non-Exempt Position Overview The General Laborer supports daily operations of the cultivation facility, ensuring plants receive proper care while maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment. This position assists with all phases of cannabis cultivation including propagation, vegetation, flowering, harvest, trimming, and facility upkeep in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) cannabis regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with daily plant care including watering, trimming, pruning, staking, transplanting, and defoliation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of cultivation rooms, equipment, and work areas. Assist with harvest and post-harvest activities such as cutting, hanging, drying, and bucking. Track and handle plant material in compliance with state METRC tracking requirements. Report plant health concerns, pest activity, or equipment issues to the Supervisor immediately. Support general facility maintenance, sanitation, and waste disposal in accordance with SOPs. Follow PPE, hygiene, and contamination-prevention standards at all times. Comply with all company and state regulations regarding cannabis handling and facility security. Perform other duties as assigned to meet production goals and maintain operational efficiency. Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older. Must possess or be eligible to obtain a valid Missouri Agent ID Card issued by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) prior to beginning employment. Candidates must complete a background check and submit fingerprints as part of the Agent ID process. Employment is contingent upon maintaining an active and valid Agent ID Card throughout employment. High school diploma or GED required. Prior experience in cultivation, horticulture, agriculture, or greenhouse work preferred but not required. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain compliance with strict regulations. Dependable, punctual, and able to work efficiently as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Prolonged standing, bending, walking, and repetitive motions. Ability to work in varying temperature, humidity, and lighting conditions. Must wear required PPE including gloves, masks, and protective clothing. Work Environment This role operates in a licensed cannabis cultivation facility regulated by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) .
