ROLE The Warehouse Employee - Wave Planner (1st Shift Mon-Fri 8am-5pm) supports daily warehouse operations with an emphasis on executing wave-based work assignments to ensure efficient order fulfillment, balanced labor flow, and on time shipping. This role works closely with warehouse leadership and the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to execute planned waves accurately, respond to priority changes, and maintain productivity, accuracy, and safety standards in a fast-paced distribution environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute picking, packing, staging, loading, or replenishment tasks according to daily and intraday wave plans released through the WMS Follow wave sequencing, zoning, and priority instructions to meet shipping cutoffs and service level expectations Accurately complete all system transactions related to picks, moves, shortages, and wave completion Communicate wave progress, delays, inventory issues, or system discrepancies to Leads or Supervisors in real time Respond to re‑waves, priority orders, or workload shifts caused by inventory constraints, labor changes, or urgent shipments Assist with workload balancing across zones or functions as directed by leadership Maintain accuracy, quality, and productivity standards while executing assigned wave tasks Support inventory control efforts by reporting shortages, damages, or mis-locations affecting wave execution Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures always Perform all warehouse fulfillment activities outlined above representing approximately 80% of the role Provide operational support activities (staging, verification, cleanup, cross training) representing approximately 20% of the role Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

Basic understanding of warehouse operations, order fulfillment processes, and inventory handling. Familiarity with wave‑based picking or task assignment preferred. Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse systems is a plus.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

2 years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred. Ability to follow detailed instructions and prioritize work based on wave assignments Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, physically active environment Dependable attendance and ability to meet productivity expectations Ability to communicate clearly with peers and supervisors

LOCATION 2970 N.

Drury Ln. Republic, MO 65738 (Onsite) The work environment is a warehouse or distribution center. The role involves exposure to moving equipment, conveyor systems, varying temperatures, moderate noise levels, and packaging materials. Personal protective equipment may be required.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION STANDING/WALKING

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while supervising and performing warehouse tasks.

LIFTING:

Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, pull, and transport up to 40-50 pounds.

REPETITIVE MOTION

Ability to perform repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, and arms related to labeling, packaging, and material handling.

VISION:

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION REASONING ABILITY

Ability to manage project tasks, make daily work assignments, troubleshoot process issues, and adjust labor deployment to meet project goals.

MATHEMATICS ABILITY

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, including tracking quantities, counts, and completion of metrics.

LANGUAGE ABILITY

Ability to read, interpret, and communicate work instructions clearly and effectively to diverse teams.
