CK Power is looking for a Material Handler at our St. Louis, MO location. The Material Handler is responsible for making sure the required materials are on the production floor and ready for production in accordance with the daily production flow,
What You'll Do:
Monitor daily production to ensure parts are available for current orders by coordinating with the material planners. There will be some data entry. Check on carts per job and stage them in designated areas on the production floor. Check on parts received for jobs several times daily to verify parts for production orders are on the production floor and for jobs that are staged. Continuously communicate with the production planners to ensure availability of parts for current and upcoming orders, while staying updated on any orders changes that may affect orders on the production floor.
What You'll Need:
Ability to work Monday through Friday 6am-3pm (one hour lunch) with overtime and Saturday shifts as needed. High school diploma or equivalent.
Mechanical aptitude:
ability recognize various engine and mechanical parts. Computer-literacy Strong verbal and written communication proficiency.
Flexibility:
ability to adapt to changes in direction with ease. Self-directed mindset, ability to work both independently and within a team environment with minimal supervision, and a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
What Helps:
Mechanical, automotive, assembly, or electrical experience a plus. Experience with manufacturing operating systems preferred. Forklift experience
