Warehouse Associate

Job description: Due to rapid growth, Tiemann Industrial Supply has immediate openings in multiple departments including our warehouse facility in the St. Louis, MO Area. Tiemann Industrial Supply Inc. is a leading privately owned distributor of industrial/safety products. Since 1930, we have been committed to meeting the industrial needs of our customers through providing the latest technologies and products from quality manufacturers.

Responsibilities :

Work effectively as a team with management and all company personnel:

• pick and fill orders on a timely basis to ensure safe and accurate deliveries.
• Load delivery truck
• Maintain neat and orderly work areas to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Receive incoming shipments from suppliers
• Assist in put-away of incoming inventory
• Assist vending program as needed
• Perform and fulfill other assignments as assigned by Warehouse Management
• Attention to detail with good communication skills . Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communications abilities. Ability to effectively organize.
• General math skills.
• Ability to perform effectively with moderate supervision and within established time limits and on-going deadlines
• This position will require frequent: Bending, Stooping, Squatting, Climbing, Reaching Above, Pushing/Pulling, and, Frequent Lifting
• Computer literate with experience using systems that support inventory management, as well as the Microsoft Office .

Qualifications:

• Some Warehouse and Shipping Experience beneficial.
• Required education: High school or equivalent Full and Part Time Available
