This role involves managing inventory, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods within a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience and possess a strong understanding of inventory control, safety protocols, and equipment operation. This position offers opportunities for growth in warehouse management and distribution operations. Hours 8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri Responsibilities Manage inventory through accurate stock counting, tracking, and reporting Perform order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving tasks to fulfill customer orders efficiently Conduct stock replenishment and organize materials for easy access and storage Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and mechanical safety procedures during all operations Assist in materials handling activities including heavy lifting and mechanical maintenance when necessary Utilize RF scanners and other warehouse management tools to track inventory movements and updates Support warehouse supervisor in daily operations, including inventory control and distribution tasks Experience Prior experience in warehouse distribution or manufacturing environments preferred Familiarity with warehouse management systems (such as AS400) and RF scanners is highly desirable Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations Mechanical knowledge or construction background is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues Proven ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stocking, order picking, packing, and load/unload activities Previous roles involving shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, or materials handling are advantageous Strong organizational skills with experience in inventory management and control systems This role is vital to maintaining efficient warehouse operations through safe practices and precise inventory management.
