The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and materials handling. This position requires a strong focus on safety and adherence to OSHA regulations while utilizing various warehouse equipment. Hours are 2:00am-10:30am Mon-Fri Responsibilities Manage inventory control processes, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and order pickers for efficient materials handling. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading products from trucks. Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and manage order fulfillment. Assist in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with the warehouse supervisor to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures. Participate in regular inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and assist with restocking as needed. Requirements Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with knowledge of inventory management practices. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and cranes. Experience with warehouse distribution processes and packaging methods. Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds). Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Experience with AS400 systems or similar warehouse management software is advantageous.
