Warehouse Laborer

Warehouse Laborer Duties and Responsibilities Nu Way's Warehouse Laborer should be able to work in a team environment and have a great work ethic. The ideal skills are the ability to coordinate, organize and plan. Being dependable with excellent time management and documentation skills is a huge asset. Ability to operate a forklift is preferred. A Warehouse Worker interacts and collaborates with other warehouse staff on a daily basis and reports to the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor on duty. Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship) Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store) Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits Picking, packing and loading customer orders Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization Complete logs into inventory Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations Skills and Abilities Proven working experience as a Warehouse Laborer Knowledgeable of warehouse safety procedures Great customer service Familiarity in inventory systems Familiarity with warehousing practices and methods Ability to lift heavy objects (60 lbs) Ability to obtain forklift license Education High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Experience Requirements Minimum 1 year experience in a warehouse setting
