Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dependable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering furniture to customers' homes, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring our products are handled with care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine driving expertise with hands-on warehouse tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, to deliver furniture across designated routes. Load and unload furniture items using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries by assisting customers with product placement and answering questions professionally. Verify delivery orders, complete route documentation, and obtain customer signatures upon successful delivery. Manage warehouse inventory by organizing stock, moving items efficiently, and maintaining a clean workspace. Assist in route planning to optimize delivery efficiency and ensure timely arrivals. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and adhere to all safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, heavy lifting, moving items, and operating forklifts or pallet jacks. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during warehouse tasks. Familiarity with route driving, load management, and delivery documentation processes. Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and move for extended periods throughout the day.
