Full Job Description Job Summary:

The major goal of this position is to receive, store, and distribute products within the Company's warehouse by performing the duties listed below.

Hours:

Monday-Thursday (9am-6:30pm) Friday (10am-2pm)

WEEKENDS OFF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehousing Duties:

Reads customer orders, work orders, or shipping orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Sorts and places product in predetermined areas based on product type. Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for product, and distributes items for loading. Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets for loading. Loads trucks, vans, and other vehicles for distribution of product to customers. Marks product with identifying information using appropriate method. Assists in unloading trucks, checks in product, matches purchase orders to sales orders, and distributes paperwork to purchasing for processing. Assists in counting of physical inventory. Performs cleaning and maintenance duties around warehouse, as needed. Organizes warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times. Wears proper safety equipment and adheres to safety and security procedures. Ensures warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and other traffic.

General Duties:

Maintain complete confidentiality in all matters concerning the Company business and personnel. Maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, business associates, suppliers, and customers. Adheres to all Company and supplier procedures and policies. Adhere to all appropriate federal, state, and local regulations regarding the sale and merchandising of both alcohol and non-alcoholic products. Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

Position requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The work environment and physical demands described below are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job: Frequently required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Must frequently stand, walk, and sit. Must occasionally lift and/or move more than100 pounds, regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
