Job Description
Employee will be managing the inventory, storage, and distribution of agriculture and livestock products. Responsibilities include safely loading and unloading 50-100 lbs., operating warehouse machinery (forklifts, pallet jacks), picking orders, and maintaining strict facility cleanliness and safety standards. Must be on time and report for duty ready to work on your scheduled days/times. Shift is Monday - Saturday with a day off during the week. Hours and daily schedule may vary depending on work needs. Receive, inspect, mark, and store incoming bulk and bagged feed shipments. Maintain accurate stock sheets and rotate products to ensure freshness. Safely pick, stage, and build palletized orders for customer pickup and bulk transport deliveries. Assist customers and truck drivers with loading and unloading into their vehicles in a polite and timely manner. Ability to frequently lift, carry, and maneuver 50-100 lbs. bags and hay bales by hand. Employee will be expected to gain knowledge of the product line. Comply with OSHA, HACCP, and USDA regulations. Keep the warehouse floor clean of debris and manage dust control. Must be comfortable working in a dusty environment, around livestock/animals, and in various outdoor weather conditions. Valid driver's license is required; forklift certification is also highly preferred. Willingness to follow instructions and work as a team. Good communication with co-workers and management. Other duties as assigned.
