Job Description

Warehouse Associate A well-established industrial materials operation in the Flathead Valley is seeking motivated individuals to join its Kalispell team. The company is involved in the processing, handling, and distribution of metals and related materials that support construction, manufacturing, and infrastructure projects throughout the region. This position plays a key role in daily operations by assisting customers, handling and preparing materials for processing, and supporting the flow of product through the facility. Responsibilities also include general maintenance, clean-up, and stocking to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Essential Functions and Duties:
Assist customers with steel orders, including pulling, processing, and loading materials accurately and efficiently Operate a variety of shop equipment and machinery such as saws, shears, forklifts, and overhead cranes Move, band, package, and stage materials safely for processing, storage, and shipment Complete required paperwork, inventory checks, and machine inspections accurately Follow all safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company procedures at all times Maintain a clean, organized work area and support team members, training, and daily operations
Qualifications:
Strong customer service skills with a focus on accuracy and responsiveness High attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety for self and others Ability to perform basic math calculations for processing and order accuracy Willingness to learn machine operation and steel warehouse procedures Able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally Willingness to work in varying weather conditions Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screenings Get in touch!
