Long‑term, Part‑Time with growth potential Position Overview The Yardman supports daily operations in a busy lumberyard and warehouse environment. This hands‑on role includes assembling lumber packages, assisting customers, maintaining inventory, and supporting the production of pre‑fabricated building components. This is an outdoor, physically active position with long‑term advancement opportunities. Key Responsibilities Lumber Assembly

• Build and prepare lumber packages to fulfill customer orders. Inventory Management
• Maintain and organize materials in the yard and warehouse. Customer Assistance
• Help customers load building materials in all weather conditions. Freight Handling
• Unload freight from vendors and distributors. Equipment Logging
• Track and report equipment repairs and maintenance. Safety Compliance
• Follow all safety procedures and yard protocols. Prefab Support
• Assist with wall panels, floor trusses, and wall trusses (preferred but not required). General Yard Support
• Assist team members with additional operational tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications Ability to work independently and follow order instructions accurately Strong math skills for measurements and assembly High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 80 lbs Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions HS Diploma or GED preferred Must pass a 5‑panel drug test Experience with forklifts, trucks, or delivery equipment is helpful Local travel up to 100 miles may be required Work Environment Outdoor yard environment with exposure to all weather Physical work including lifting, bending, twisting, and carrying materials Fast‑paced, team‑oriented atmosphere Long‑term employment and advancement opportunities Benefits 401(k) PTO / Vacation Insurance options Paid holidays How to Apply Contact Express Employment Professionals
