ReStore Warehouse Team Member

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a ReStore Warehouse Team Member! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth flow of donated goods and retail inventory. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help us maximize the impact of our mission by efficiently managing inventory, stocking shelves, and supporting customer interactions. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to community development while gaining valuable warehouse experience. Whether handling heavy lifting or operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, you'll be instrumental in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment that promotes teamwork and excellence. Duties Do donation pickups at donors homes Greet and assist donors as they arrive to drop off items. Evaluate donations for quality and acceptability based on ReStore guidelines. Provide donation receipts and thank donors for their contributions. Safely and efficiently unload donations from vehicles. Sort, label, and organize incoming merchandise. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized donation drop-off area. Educate donors and the public on Habitat for Humanity's mission and the ReStore's role in it. Work collaboratively with ReStore staff and volunteers. Restock sales floor, cashiering when needed, lead volunteers, help ensure cleanliness of the store Qualifications

MUST HAVE NC DL WITH A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE DRIVING A BOX TRUCK MUST SUBMIT BACKGROUND CHECK

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly. Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working outdoors on occasions and in variable conditions. Reliable, presentable and punctual with strong attention to detail.
