Like to work with your hands and make things? We have the perfect job for you! We are looking to fill one position immediately! We are a small aluminum foundry and machine shop in the Asheville NC area and have been in business for over 30 years. We produce parts and castings for a wide array of businesses across the country. Experience using basic tools is preferred. Experience using pneumatic tools or band saw preferred Must have excellent work attendance history. Must be on time and ready to work every day. This is an entry level position, $16 hourly to start for full time position. We will train the right applicant. Day Shift only Candidate must be able to work Monday - Thursday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and Friday 7:30 am -11:30 am. We offer 4 & 1/2-day work week, weekly pay, 7 paid holidays and 1-week paid vacation per year for full time employees. Responsibilities Operate machinery and tools in the aluminum foundry, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Perform basic machining tasks and assist in the fabrication of aluminum components. Work well with other team members Conduct quality inspections Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow and assist in general labor tasks as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
