Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing an arrayof duties including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods to meet customer and company standards. This role is critical to ensuring efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Unload, inspect, and receive incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality. Safely store goods in designated inventory location. Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for outbound shipping, based on customer requirements and company standards. Conduct regular cycle counts, maintain accurate inventory records, and report discrepancies to Management. Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (training provided if needed). Inspect products for damage or defects and report issues to management. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Complete all tasks as assigned.
Work Environment:
Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures, moderate noise levels, and occasional office work for administrative tasks. Majority of time spent walking on feet and standing on hard surfaces for 8-10 hours per day. Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.). Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and climb ladders regularly. Full-time position with occasional evening, weekend, or holiday shifts based on operational needs and peak season. On-call availability may be required.
Education, Skill & Work Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse or distribution experience is a plus but not required; Training provided, if needed. Experience with warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is preferred. Ability to follow instructions, complete tasks, and work independently. Basic math and computer skills.
