The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks, including but not limited to pulling auto parts off cars, restocking parts, and general cleaning of salvage yard. Responsibilities
- Remove parts from vehicles, some that are already off and some that are still on.
- Utilize tools for cutting, drilling, and other tasks
- Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
- Assist in loading and unloading materials
- Breaking down tires on a tire machine (we are willing to train) Requirements
- Proficiency with mechanical knowledge and power tools
- Ability to work efficiently in all weather types
- Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to operate forklift on gravel and dirt
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs by yourself)
- Must have valid drivers license
