The Warehouse Operator is responsible for completing shipping/receiving activities while maintaining a safe environment and achieving desired key performance measurements. Processes include unloading trucks, picking and loading product for customer orders.Responsibilities:
Drive forklift, unloading raw materials, loading finished goods and movement of various items in manufacturing area. Complying with FIFO system for both raw materials and finished goods including proper documentation. Team player - give and receive feedback. Perform all tasks in a safe manner, comply with all safety rules. Participate in daily meetings with team, reviewing safety, equipment issues and production schedules. Maintain housekeeping expectations. Conduct housekeeping and safety audits and report findings. Participate in investigation efforts for incidents as needed. Drive forklift, unloading raw materials, loading finished goods and movement of various items in manufacturing area. Complying with FIFO system for both raw materials and finished goods including proper documentation. Train fellow team members on equipment and procedures. Occasionally cover for co-workers who may be off work due to vacation or absenteeism. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
1 year warehouse experience preferred Effective communication skills High school diploma or GED equivalent Ability to safely operate a forklift Excellent attendance recordSimilar remote jobs
