PM Pay Rate:

$18.00•$19.00 per hour, based on experience

Position Type:

Temp-to-Hire Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to join a fast-paced warehouse team in Charlotte, NC. This position is primarily responsible for operating a sit-down forklift, moving materials throughout the warehouse, supporting inventory accuracy, and assisting with shipping and receiving operations. Candidates with experience operating additional warehouse equipment are encouraged to apply. We also welcome applicants from Charlotte and the city of Fortmill to apply. Responsibilities Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move, load, unload, and stage materials. Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and material movements. Assist with receiving, shipping, inventory counts, and order preparation. Verify product quantities and locations for accuracy. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements. Assist with general warehouse duties as needed. Qualifications Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred. Sit-down forklift experience strongly preferred (Hyster Brand) Experience with the following equipment is a plus: Stand-Up Reach Truck Electric Pallet Jack (Walkie Rider) Cherry Picker / Order Picker Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems preferred. Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the workday. Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
